Today we take a brief hiatus from our National Peach Month celebrations to inform you that it is National Rum Day. I don't believe it is a federal holiday, although it certainly should be, and I doubt your boss will let you off of work. But that is no reason not to get into the holiday spirit of this...um...spirit! Rum is very tasty when accompanied by some lime and sugar and the occasional piece of fruit. So remember to drink early and often and enjoy the...um...the...er...hmm. I've forgotten what it is we're supposed to be enjoying but this rum drink is deeelicious. Cheers!
I love fruity cocktails!
ReplyDeleteAnita,
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that It was National Rum day. We love Myer's Rum, so dark and intense, on the rocks with a squeeze of lime. It 's not available everywhere though. Cheers!
HAPPY HAPPY DAY!
ReplyDeleteI'll drink to that!
ReplyDeleteRum and I don't get along very well. The last time I consumed the beverage, it was combined with a certain soft drink and I don't remember what happened next...hahahaha These cocktails look refreshing, however.
ReplyDeleteIt's nearly 5:00, LOL. I love your cocktails. I'm just trying to decide which one will suit a muggy couldy evening.
ReplyDeleteHappy National Rum Day :-)
ReplyDeleteNow why couldn't rum day be on a Friday??? I'll just gaze at all the lovely options...and celebrate later!
ReplyDeleteHow did I ever miss this holiday? I LOVE the collection of Rum Drinks! Thank you for sharing on Thursday's Treasures Week 47. <3 and hugs!
