The Month in Review - March 2013

This year, March was the month that saw us longing for an end to winter and being constantly disappointed.  It snowed, it rained and it snowed some more.  We took the word of a lying rodent because we wanted desperately to believe...and then it snowed again.

The Month in Review - March 2013
So, we stayed in a lot and we cooked and we ate.  We changed the clocks and we celebrated St. Patrick's Day and Passover and Easter and we waited for spring.  Below is a recap of all the tasty foods we ate while we waited.  Enjoy!

Cheese Stuffed Brussels Sprouts
Asparagus, Feta and Oregano Pasta
Cheesy Quinoa and Asparagus Bake
Bananas Foster Bundt Cake
Bailey's Irish Cream Cheese Trifle
Creamy Broccoli and Cheese Soup
Sweet Irish Soda Bread Biscuits
Cream Cheese Crumb Cake
Chickpea Burger with Israeli Salad
Minty Pear Mojito
Almond Frangipane Tart
Baked Lemon Glazed Mini Doughnuts

  1. What a great collection of recipes for the month of March... We dont know if we have told you before but we love the wood board you photograph on..

  2. Wow, when you look at the whole month in one post it just shows how much work you do! What a great group of recipes and a beautiful bunch of photos. Have a wonderful day Anita :)

  3. At least the 30% chance of snow today didn't pan out /

How did I miss the stuffed Brussels sprouts???? Brilliant!

  4. March was so busy. Glad you did this recap because apparently I missed a bunch.

  5. What a great collection! It was nearly 60 here this weekend, but, back down to 40 today..sigh..spring has got to come soon..

  6. A great month of HCNY recipes! Especially the crumb cake...and the bananas foster....the soup....;)

  7. Okay - I would need the mojito to survive that weather. There isn't a dish you've shared that wouldn't have made surviving the snow worth it. :)

We'd love to hear from you!
